Refund Policy

Plain and short: annual billing, automatic renewal, cancel any time to stop the next renewal, and payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Effective date: August 27, 2026

1. Billing model

WikiMonitor plans are billed annually in advance: Single Page $99/year, Four Pages $299/year. Your subscription renews automatically each year on your renewal date using your payment method on file, unless you cancel before that date. Renewal reminders are emailed before each renewal.

2. Cancellation

Cancel any time from your account link (emailed to you; there are no passwords) or by writing to team@wikimonitor.com from your account address. Cancellation stops the next renewal immediately. Monitoring stays active through the end of the term you have already paid — cancelling does not cut off service you have paid for, and cancelling does not itself trigger a refund.

3. Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial terms, cancellations mid-term, unused recipient slots, or pages that change rarely or not at all. This policy is disclosed before purchase on the signup page and at checkout, and again in the Terms of Service.

4. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your jurisdiction — for example, mandatory statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights. Where such a right applies, we honor it.

5. Failed renewals

If a renewal payment fails, we will retry and email you. Monitoring pauses if payment cannot be completed after retries and notice; it resumes automatically once payment succeeds within the grace period described in your renewal notice.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge — billing confusion is almost always faster to fix directly. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in suspension of the associated account.

7. Service failures

If we discontinue the service entirely during a paid term, we will refund the unused whole months of that term on request. Partial outages are handled under the Terms of Service, not by refund.
